Sue Daugherty
Sue Daugherty enjoys an active lifestyle and has always supported a multitude of community services in Stockton. Sue graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Communications/Public Relations. After moving to Stockton her first volunteer affiliation was with Lambda Theta Phi, a Philanthropic organization that raises money for non-profits. After ten years with “Lambs” Sue remained involved in multiple events and fund raising opportunities including the American Cancer Society’s annual “Gala Event” and The Emergency Food Banks “Mayor’s Ride and Walk to End Hunger.” While raising her children, Kate and Chase, Sue took an active role in their schools and served on School Site Council Boards during their elementary through high school years. She is currently an active member of The Stockton Women’s Executive Group
Most of Sue’s business career has centered around recruiting, marketing and sales. She is currently an Internship Development Specialist with University of the Pacific. One of the aspects she enjoys most about her role is being out in the community on a daily basis and interacting with employers, non-profits, faculty and students. This keeps Sue current and up to date with new developments in Stockton and the opportunity to pass on that knowledge and engage Pacific students in meaningful work experiences.
In addition to her position at Pacific, Sue has her own voice over business. She provides voice over for commercials, video narratives, e-learning tutorials, on hold messaging, PSA’s and robo calls. Over the years she has supported many local non-profits with voice over services including the Stockton Emergency Food Bank, The Community Center for the Blind, Community Partnership for Families and Friends of the Fox.
Sue is a strong proponent of Stockton and the non-profit’s that provide services to residents in our community. She is proud to be affiliated with the ARC and the unique environment, care and supportive services they offer especially to enhance the lives of individuals with special needs.
